HOW TO SEND A POSTCARD

To send a card, first go to this page: Main Page. Click on the link/word Postcards and select a category. You'll then see cards matching your choice. Once you've chosen your card, click the "send this" link underneath the picture, in some cases you can simply click on the image that you wish to send as a postcard. You will be taken to a page to view the actual size of the card. If that is the card you would like to send then completely fill out the form on the same page. When you are done, click "click here to proceed" to make sure everything looks right and the e-mail addresses are correct. If everything is correct click send. If not click the back button on your browser -- make the changes and then send your card! *Special Note: You will receive an e-mail letting you know when the card was picked up!

FOR PROBLEMS SENDING A CARD

Be certain you are including both your name and e-mail address and the recipients name and e-mail address. Make sure that you are typing a valid e-mail address in for the recipient. A valid e-mail address has the correct case and a @ sign in it. Over 98% of cards not delivered is the direct result in a typo with the email address.

I SENT A CARD BUT THEY WERE NEVER NOTIFIED

If your recipient didn't receive the card it is either due to slow connections on the Internet or the more common answer - the e-mail address you wrote in was incorrect. So before sending that card DOUBLE check and make sure all the addresses are correct.

THEY PICKED UP THE CARD BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED

If you didn't receive a notice it is either due to slow connections on the Internet or the more common answer - the e-mail address you wrote in was incorrect. So before sending that card make sure all the addresses are correct.

HOW DO I PICK UP A CARD?

If you have received a card you will (or have) received an e-mail notification letting you know your card number and the address of where to pick it up. You can click on the direct link to your card that is in your email notification that appears something like this: http://all4love.net/postcards/purestarcard.cgi?040128147 and it will take you directly to your card, or you may go to the main page and enter the number in the pickup box and click on view. If you're still having trouble finding the pick up page click here then enter your card number in the box and click the button. AOL users can use the link that is provided at the bottom of the notification letter. It's that easy!

FOR PROBLEMS RETRIEVING A CARD

Do not type URL's in capitol letters. Use copy and paste if at all possible. Alternatively you may click on the optional link that is sent to you in your notification, it will take you directly to your virtual postcard.
Type the number for your card exactly as it is shown in the e-mail notification that you received telling you that you have a postcard waiting for you. Please DOUBLE check this. Be certain that you are not including any spaces or # signs either before or after the number since this will result in the "card not found" error message.

IT SAYS: "NO CARD FOUND"

If your card is over 2 weeks old it has been deleted from our database. Due to the overwhelming number of cards sent daily we need to do this as to not slow down our server. If your card is less than one week old and you are getting the "no card found" error page, make sure there are no spaces before the number and that the number is correct. If after trying that you are still getting that error please forward the notice you received by e-mail that let you know you have a card waiting for you to webmaster@victorianpostys.com.

I CAN'T FIND MY CARD NUMBER

If you are having problems finding your card number please forward the "You have a Postcard!! notice you received by e-mail to webmaster@victorianpostys.com

THERE ARE NO IMAGES ON MY CARD

This sometimes happens when the person who sent you the card forgot to click the button signifying which card (or image) to send you. Our suggestion is to kindly ask the sender to resend the card and make sure they click the button. Be aware that sometimes those of you on AOL will have trouble viewing Java Applets or seeing the images within Java Applets, check your AOL systems directory for further information.
